Investing in Your Ears
We believe that hearing your best is an important part of living your best. That’s why we make it our mission not only to provide the highest-quality hearing care, patient education, and advanced technology but also to help you maximize your life-changing investment in better hearing health.
Spend Your Flexible-Spending Account Dollars on Your Hearing
Hearing is crucial for enjoying everything from music to end-of-the-year festivities with family and friends, so make sure you’re hearing your best by investing in your ears.
Health insurance is the best way to save on the cost of hearing aids, but only about 40% of regular health insurance plans help toward the cost of new devices. Even then, it’s usually $500 to $3,000. This year, put your flexible-spending account (FSA) dollars toward your hearing health.
What’s an FSA? You tell your employer how much pretax money you’d like pulled from each paycheck, and that money is set aside. When you incur medical expenses, you can reimburse yourself from your FSA account. Your hearing care costs do still come out of pocket, but because they are untaxed, you get more for your money.
If your benefits aren’t used by the end of the year, they likely won’t roll over to next year’s balance. If you’ve already used your FSA funds for this year, consider what your hearing needs will be next year when you decide how much of your paycheck you’d like to set aside.
Protect Your Technology and Your Peace of Mind
After your manufacturer’s warranty expires, it’s important to know you still have protection until you’re ready to upgrade. We recommend these affordable options to extend your hearing device coverage and your peace of mind.
4th Year Extended Warranty
Most hearing instruments come with 3 years of repair warranty. Contact our office to purchase a 4th Year Extended Warranty for $250/ear. That will protect you from incurring out of warranty repair expenses which can cost up to $350/repair.
If you lose or accidentally damage your hearing aid, you can rest easy knowing the cost of repairing or replacing your device is covered.
We’re pleased to partner with ESCO (Ear Service Company), the leading insurance provider of loss and damage for the hearing industry for more than 25 years. All major hearing aid manufacturers endorse them.
Hearing aid wearers prefer working with ESCO because:
- Coverage options suit all lifestyles and insure most types and models of hearing instruments.
